Staleen Water Main Update

Irish Water have announced that repair work to the burst watermain at Staleen has been completed. The pipeline servicing the Staleen Water Treatment Plant in Donore, Co. Meath burst on Wednesday 30th May causing restrictions to the water supply in Drogheda and East Meath.

Irish Water had been prioritising the water supply to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and schools, nursing homes, crèches and vulnerable customers in the area. A list of alternative water station locations is published online. If using these water supplies it is recommended to bring clean containers and boil the water before use.
