Food Nutritional Testing - New Accreditation

Fitz Scientific are pleased to announce that the following Nutritional Group 1 food chemistry tests have been added to our INAB ISO 17025 scope of accreditation:

• Moisture
• Ash
• Protein
• Total Fat
• Energy
• Carbohydrates by Calculation
• Water Activity

These methods have been validated for a range of food types including cereals, confectionery, fruit and vegetables, infant baby powder, ready made meals, meat, milk products and petfood.

Update 14/07/2022 - We have also recently completed in house validation of additional tests to provide Nutritional Group 2 testing. Tests include Saturated & Unsaturated Fats, Sugars including full sugar profile, Dietary Fibre & Sodium.

This will further enhance our food testing services, and add to our existing extensive accredited scope food microbiological testing methods.
