Accredited PAH Testing - Drinking Water

Following a recent validation exercise of a new analytical technique, Fitz Scientific are pleased to advise that we can now provide low level detection of PAHs in drinking water matrices in-house in our Drogheda laboratory. These methods are now accredited to ISO 17025 for drinking water.

Chris, in our R&D team, has been working on the validation of a gas chromatography method for the detection of low level PAH’s in drinking water matrices – in the range LOD/LOQ to 0.125 ug/L.

All analysis of drinking water samples for PAHs that was previously subcontracted will now be completed in house. Where our customers conduct sampling themselves we will continue provide the appropriate sample containers required for this analysis. Where we conduct the sampling on your behalf we will update all relevant chain of custody forms with the new test methods.
