Topsoil Testing Services

Fitz Scientific now offer an extensive range of topsoil testing services in accordance with environmental and quality standards such as British Standard BS 3882:2015 – Specification for top soil and requirements for use.

We can provide physical testing and classification as clay, silt, loam or sand; chemical testing for key nutrients such as organic matter, nitrogen, available P, K and Mg. We can also carry out full elemental assessments on elements such as mercury, cadmium, chromium, lead and arsenic, as well as organic testing for poly aromatic hydrocarbons, total petroleum hydrocarbons (with aliphatic and aromatic banding) and BTEX.
