Landfill Monitoring Services

Fitz Scientific provide an overall  monitoring service to landfill operators to meet the requirements of licences issued by the Environmental Protection Agency. All monitoring is conducted in compliance with the EPA Landfill Monitoring Manual.

This includes the following:

• Ambient Air Quality Monitoring - Dust and PM 10 monitoring
• Point source stack emissions monitoring of flare gas emissions
• Periodic Surface Water Monitoring
• Periodic Groundwater Monitoring
• Periodic Leachate Monitoring
• Landfill Gas Monitoring
• Day and Night Noise Monitoring on site and a number of Noise Sensitive Locations
• Reporting of all environmental monitoring to the Agency

The on going management of environmental aspects of the landfill site by Fitz Scientific, ensures that the client is at all times in compliance with the requirements of its Waste Licence.
