LEED & WELL Indoor Air Quality

Fitz Scientific provide Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Monitoring to meet the requirements for LEED and WELL Building Assessments. Parameters for air quality sampling and testing include:

  • Particulate Matter: PM10 & PM2.5
  • Ozone
  • Carbon Monoxide
  • Total VOCs
  • Targeted VOCs (Benzene, Toluene, Phenol, Hexane etc)
  • Formaldehyde

The US Green Building Council establishes minimum standards for indoor air quality as part of the LEED assessment. The International WELL Building Institute provides this guidance for WELL Assessments. Monitoring should take place before a building is occupied with the building ventilation system in operation.

Our trained technicians provide on site sampling for the required parameters. Using a variety of air sampling methods, samples are taken from site and where relevant, transported back to the laboratory for testing. A report is then provided comparing the results to the maximum concentration levels specified in the LEED & WELL guidelines.

Fitz Scientific also provides Water sampling and analysis meeting the requirements of both schemes.
