Infant Formula Testing

Fitz Scientific provide laboratory analysis of infant formula and follow-on formula at all stages of the manufacturing and distribution process. Our analysis meets the requirements for nutritional labelling, product composition and product safety.

The controls on infant formula and follow-on formula are set by the European Union through Commission Directive 2006/141/EC and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/127 and transposed into Irish legislation by SI 852/2007 European Communities (Infant Formulae and Follow-on Formulae) Regulations 2007 to 2014.

International Standards

Our methodology meets the requirements of International ISO & EN standards and GB standards for export to the Chinese Market.
Supported by a team of world class Research & Development scientists we work continuously to validate and update new analytical methods for analysis of infant formula, dairy milk powders and other food matrices.
